Abstract

The program of the production technology application of the sandbasedbuilding material aims to equip the community of Desa Kalibeing,Kecamatan Dukun, Central Java with: (1) life skill of vocational skill insand-based building material production, (2) enterpreneurship interest inbuilding material production, and (3) capability to develop sand-basedbuilding material production industry. The technology application method consists of the activities: (1)survey of the skill types interested by the target community, (2) talk of lifeskill education related to sand-based building material production, (3)discussion, (3) demonstration, (4) practice of concrete block production, and(5) laboratory test to observe the product quality and analysis of the trainingproduct economic value. The talk and discussion methods are used todeliver the raw material preparation subject, the demonstration and practicemethods are used to equip the community the skill in concrete blockproduction, and the laboratory research aims to observe the quality andeconomic value of the products. The target community of the technologyapplication is the community of Desa Kalibening, Kecamatan Dukun,Central Java. The activity result is analysed by observing the level of thecapability of the training participants in producing sand-based buildingmaterial especially concrete blocks and the quality of the training resultproducts if compared to the existing standards and the selling value of theproducts. The result of the technology application implementation of the sandbasedbuilding material production is the community mastering the skills of:(1) good preparation of raw material to form the concrete blocks, (2)capability of producing sand-based building material especially the concreteblocks with various mixing ratios, (3) treatment of the produced buildingmaterial, and (4) enterpreneurship capability of producing sand-basedbuilding materials especially concrete blocks. Generally the buildingmaterial products made by the target community have met the requirementsset in SNI although they are still in the lowest quality category (A1). Theselling value of the concrete blocks with the ratio of 1 SP : 10 PS is Rp2.000,00 each and the ratio of 1 SP : 12 PS is Rp 1.800,00 each.

There four reasons why OpenOffice.org (OOo) should be introducedto the educators at Junior high School. Firstly, Ooo is the great software.OOo is the software developed for 20 years and designed as integratedoffice software that has consistence. Secondly, OOo version 3.3 is very easyto use. The most of educators have basics of using Ms Office. Based on theirexperience of using Ms Office, they will never find difficulties in writing, presenting, calculating and drawing with OOo. OOo is also supported byIndonesian language, so it is for beginner, too. Thirdly, OOo can be gotfreely. It means that we can get from anyone, distrubute to every one. OOois released under GPL (General Public Licence) license. Fourthly, OOo isopen. OOo is developed using paradigm open or ‘no secret’. It means thatevery one could see the source codes of this program. Anyone may giveadvices to improve and repaire the bugs. Abstract

The application of AI technology was aimed to improve the qualityof sheep in the village Tanjungharjo within the framework of communityeconomic empowerment. The activities centered in the hamlet Klajuran andTanjunggunung, which has biggest number of sheep population. Thisactivity was began with the selection of candidates for ewes and superiormales. 32 ewes and 2 males were used in this activity. Prior to the AI, theewes synchronized using PGF2α with a dose of 0.2 and 0.5 ml / IM / headand part of the ewes fed flushing. The results showed that thesynchronization of applied technology for both flushing and non flushingindicate the occurrence of estrus with estrous intensity the average of 2.8. Itcould be concluded that almost all ewes synchronized shows estrous withnear maximal intensity (3), which is swollen, red and slimy. Analysis ofvariance of flushing treatment showed significant different to estrousintensity (3 vs 2.6). Synchronization using different doses of PGF2αtreatment and flushing yielded an average pregnancy rate is different too.The average pregnancy in the treatment flushing was 100%, while the nonflushingwas 70%. While for the treatment of PGF2α dose, to 0.5 ml / headpregnancy rate reached 95% and to 0.2 ml / head pregnancy rate reached80%. It can be concluded that the flushing and different doses of PGF2αhave effect on the intensity of estrus and achievements AI.

Abstract

An investigation on synthesis of potassium ferrate and its applicationin degradation of Blue direct 2B. The purpose of this research is to studydegradation influence of optimal pH and optimal Molar ratio from kaliumferrat for degradation blue direct 2B. The investigation were performed withsynthesis and characterization of potassium ferrat before it was reacted withblue direct 2B.The result a kuantity of reaction was followed by UV-Visspectrophotometry. pH for research is 9 – 10 and molar ratio of kaliumferrat : blue direct 2B is 1 : 1 – 5 : 1.From the research, the stability of kalium ferrat for degradation bluedirect 2B in the optimal pH 9,6 and the optimal molar ratio ferrat : bluedirect 2B in 1 : 1 – 5 : 1 the result of degradation is 96,32% after 30minutes. It kown if the wavelength shift from 610 nm to 298,80 nm, so thecolour of solvent change from blue-green to yellow transparent (until notcoloured). It conclused if the wavelength or the colour change is showchange of compound structure it consequenced of degradation withpotassium ferrat.
